Freedom from Overeating

Often we look for a quick fix to our issues with food. Some people choose drastic measures to loss weight, some even undergo risky surgical procedures, yet for many the problems associated with compulsive overeating are not easily resolved.

I work with individuals who are serious about learning the skills necessary to have a healthy relationship with food and desire to make positive  lifestyle changes. We will work together to develop an individualized treatment plan that may include: cognitive behavioral therapy, group therapy, hypnosis, exercise, referral to a twelve-step support group and consultation with a registered dietician.

Some of the goals of this treatment include:
•    Learning healthy alternatives to overeating
•    Relaxation and self-hypnosis training
•    Improved self-esteem and confidence
•    Development of a more active life style
•    Freedom from yo-yo dieting
